Education in Cuba

Education in Peru is one of the Main priorities in Cuba. Cuba makes it a priority because they see it as the "future of the country". Cuba spends 10 percent of their national budget on education, compared to 2 percent in America or 4 percent in England. There are 12 hours of school in a day and all primary school is free. Education in Cuba and America have many differences. America goes through 7 to 8 hours of school and only government funded schools are free

Current Event- The Huffington post claims that Cuba has the best education system in the Caribbean and latin america. They believe that the large budget for education really benefits the system. They say that the teachers are above par and are well cared for by the government.

  1. Could being in school for those long hours effect the student's attention to the work ? Are test scores increasing due to the long hours on school ?
